Tennessee Victim Law Firm
Attorney Kevin Madison
An Attorney with Christian Values
Tennessee Crime Victim Attorney Kevin R. Madison has a background and expert training unlike other attorneys. Tennessee Attorney Kevin R. Madison is a former Chief of Police who has years of training and experience investigating and prosecuting assaults, sexual assaults, and sexual exploitation cases. Employers who sexually harass their employees are sexual predators. Doctors and therapists who molest their patients are sexual predators. Lawyers who molest their Clients are sexual predators. Their mindset is exactly the same as a rapist. The only difference between a rapist and these predators is the degree of the sexual assault!
Mr. Madison’s training and experience as a police officer, prosecutor, state judge, and attorney offers a blend of criminal prosecution with civil prosecution legal skills. In order to prove up your case in court and convince a judge or jury that your legal rights were violated, you must have admissible “evidence” that proves your allegations beyond a preponderance of the evidence. Having an attorney who is a former law enforcement officer and prosecutor could be the factor that may result in a settlement of your case or victory in the courtroom. One of Mr. Madison’s most important skills is assisting clients in special tactics to gather important evidence that can be used against the perpetrator later during settlement negotiations or at trial.
Kevin Madison’s experience includes employment, training, and education, including:
- Police Officer
- Chief of Police
- Criminal Investigator
- Top-Rated Litigation Attorney- Martindale-Hubbell Legal Directory’s Highest Rating Award of “AV” for Ethics and Competence
- Trained Victim Advocate
- Former Assistant District Attorney
- Over 30 years of experience as a State Magistrate and Judge
- Over 40 years of experience as a Civil Court Litigation Attorney
- Security Supervisor 800 person private residential tower and shopping mall
- Court-accepted Expert Witness on Police Procedures in Texas
My law practice concentrates in the areas of sexual harassment, sexual exploitation by doctors and therapists who molest their patients, sexual abuse, rape, date rape, and sexual assault. These cases include victims of physical assault, sexual assault, serious sexual harassment by employers or high-level management, involving lewd conduct, repeated vile, lewd, and sexually inappropriate language and/or, improper touching.

About Shirley Madison, R.N., Nurse Legal Assistant
Shirley was born in East Tennessee. At the age of 11, she and her siblings were moved to Ohio to live with relatives after the tragic death of their parents. After graduating from high school, she enlisted enlisted in the US Army and proudly served for 6 years as a Dental Specialist. Upon receiving an Honorable Discharge, Shirley entered college to pursue a nursing career.
Shirley has been licensed as a Registered Nurse for over 34 years. She was certified as a Rehabilitation Nursing Specialist and worked with traumatic brain injury and traumatic spinal cord injury patients. In 1990, Shirley was recognized as “Nurse of the Year” for St. David’s Rehabilitation Center in Austin, Texas. Shirley has served for years as a volunteer in animal rescue groups.
Shirley understands, firsthand, the trauma that crime victims suffer. Her mother was a victim of domestic violence which ended in a homicide-suicide. As a young child, Shirley, her 4 siblings, and their little Dachshund, witnessed their father shoot and kill their mother. Immediately after, their father shot and killed himself. This personal tragedy reinforces her desire to help other victims of domestic violence, physical assaults, sexual assault, and sexual molestation. Shirley assists her husband, Kevin, on many of these cases.
Shirley and Kevin have been involved in animal rescue and adoption for nearly 20 years. They have adopted 15 rescued Dachshunds and German Shepherds. They have, and continue to financially support, the rescue, and medical treatment, of countless rescued dogs and cats.
Kevin and Shirley Madison intensely believe in treating all people with the utmost respect and dignity, regardless of race, religion, socio-economic status, or sexual orientation.
